Next Monday, December 5th, Simone will once again join Kevin Kling on the Guthrie Stage for an evening of merry merry story and song. This one-night-only event, will also feature the talents of Dan Chouinard, Peter Ostroushko and The Brass Messengers. The show starts at 7:30pm, but the pre-show begins a bit earlier with The Brass Messengers who never fail to bring the fun times. For more info, click here.

HMS Pinafore at the Guthrie Theater — June 24th-August 28th

This Friday, June 24th, Simone opens HMS Pinafore at the Guthrie Theater, a run that will keep her busy all summer long. She is thrilled to be a part of the ensemble, playing one of Sisters/Cousins/Aunts. The cast, orchestra and creative team are all amazing with Joe Dowling at the helm, choreography by David Bolger, musical direction/(awesome new) arrangements by Andrew Cooke, set design by Frank Flood and SPECTACULAR costumes by Fabio Toblini. The cast is equally remarkable, but you’ll have to come to the show to really see why!

Simone teams up with Kevin Kling to spin some yarns and sing some tunes exploring the sometimes loving, sometimes tumultuous, often hysterical shared histories of our sibling cities: Minneapolis and St. Paul. From their beginnings as St. Anthony and Pigs Eye through their growth as the milling and commerce centers of the Midwest, these “twins” have shared a lot of adventures over the years.

Written By Kevin Kling, with music found and also written by Simone. Directed by Suzy Messerole.
